Ctrl V® Launches 5th Annual Fundraiser for Kids

The team at Ctrl V is super excited to announce that it will be proceeding with its annual fundraiser to support sick children, despite the parameters imposed by COVID-19. This year will be in a little bit of a different format, but it will continue forward.

The event is in partnership with “Extra Life” – a gaming initiative that happens around North America where gamers will play whatever tickles their fancy (console games, board games, etc.) to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $50 Million for member hospitals. The movement, formed by games bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.

Each Ctrl V location will be contributing their raisings to their local hospital within the network. Ctrl V HQ, specifically, will be supporting the Toronto SickKids Hospital.

What cooler way could there be to get rolling with such a great cause than to play VR games to your heart’s content. We love it and have raised over $110,000 so far! WHAT!

This year has been tough – The Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals needs your support more than ever. And, we are positive that you require some fun, more than ever. Even though our family-run arcades are struggling more than ever, we are confident that we can help with both. $5 from every booking will be sent to charity.
